Small Biz Trends wrote a short piece highlighting two new pieces of veteran specific legislation. U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) recently introduced the Veteran Entrepreneurship Act and the Veterans Hiring Act, the former of which will lower the cost of Small Business Administration loan programs for military veterans trying to start their own businesses, while the latter will provide tax incentives for businesses hiring veterans.
