House Passes Hire More Heroes Act

Washington, DC  –  Today, with the first act of legislative business in the new Congress, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 22, the Hire More Heroes Act.  This bipartisan bill makes it easier for small businesses to hire veterans by exempting those veterans already receiving health care at the Department of Defense or the Veterans Administration from Obamacare’s employer mandate.
